Roof and upper surfaces
A dark woven roof treatment can visually connect the glass and body. It is a restrained way to introduce the material without covering every panel.
TEXTURED TESLA SKIN
Explore woven textures, dark performance-inspired layouts, and carbon-fiber-look accents for supported Tesla models.
A carbon fiber Tesla skin is defined by texture as much as color. The familiar woven pattern creates detail at close range while reading as a deep grey or black surface from farther away. This makes it useful for subtle accents as well as full visual concepts.
Physical carbon-fiber-look vinyl is an appearance treatment rather than a replacement body material. Digital wrap artwork can reproduce a similar woven effect for a Tesla Paint Shop preview. In both cases, scale and direction matter: a pattern that is too large can dominate the vehicle, while a pattern that is too small may disappear in normal viewing.

Small textured areas add detail while allowing the main Tesla wrap color to remain dominant. They work best when repeated sparingly.
A complete carbon-fiber-look direction can be combined with clean stripes, muted color blocks, or bright accent lines to prevent the surface from feeling visually flat.
On Model 3, long texture direction and restrained accents suit the low sedan shape. Model Y provides more area for a pattern, so keeping the weave scale consistent is important. Cybertruck offers large flat panels where the texture can remain readable, but panel-to-panel alignment becomes a stronger part of the design.
Use the model-specific gallery before opening a preview. The exact canvas determines how artwork crosses doors, fenders, roof areas, and other UV regions. A design selected for the wrong vehicle may place important texture in an unintended location.
Begin by searching the gallery for carbon, dark, technical, or performance-inspired designs. Open a compatible result in the browser studio and inspect it from more than one angle. Look at the overall dark-to-light balance before evaluating the fine weave. A good concept remains coherent even when the texture cannot be seen at thumbnail size.
The browser export is intended for the supported Tesla Paint Shop workflow. If you are planning physical vinyl, discuss film texture, pattern scale, seam placement, surface preparation, and care requirements with a professional installer. A digital preview is useful inspiration, but it is not an installer-ready print template.
